Bug#430779: linux-image-2.6.21-2-686: System seems to have microhangs, especially the mouse and sound are affected.
Package: linux-image-2.6.21-2-686
Severity: important
This bug is a regression from linux-image-2.6.18-4-686 2.6.18.dfsg.1-1
When booted with 2.6.21, the mouse pointer moves with an unacceptable
delay. Sound played with xmms has interrupts, and even now, while typing
this report on the console, some characters appear with a delay on the
screen, (or disappear with delay when I remove something)
At least the mouse issue can be improved slightly setting cpufreq
governor to userspace and setting the highest possible cpu frequency.
I guess this report is not very useful, because I don't provide any
logfiles. Can you give me any hints, how to produce something useful?
