Package: linux-image-2.6.17-1-k7
Version: 2.6.17-4
Severity: important

trying to load snd-emu10k1 while snd-via82xx is already loaded fails,
showing the folowwing output on dmesg:

EMU10K1_Audigy: probe of 0000:00:0c.0 failed with error -12

the result: only the via82xx on board sound device is usable
when loading snd-emu10k1 and THEN snd-via82xx, both cards are usable.

Problem is, i can't seem to disable the via82xx (even when i blacklist
it and /etc/hotplug, it still gets loaded b4 the emu10k1.

Current ugly workaround: delete snd-via82xx and run depmod -a

I have an asus k8v, and add-on pci sb live! value
