Package: linux-image-2.6.18-2-686
Version: 2.6.18-5
Severity: important

While upgrading inside Emacs M-x shell (or installing "nasm", which
installed kernel upadate), following message seems very serious. Please
downgrade the bug to normal if this is not the case.

dpkg: serious warning: files list file for package `linux-image-2.6.18-2-686' missing, assuming package has no files currently installed.
  ...
Hmm. The package shipped with a symbolic link /lib/modules/2.6.18-2-686/source
However, I can not read the target: No such file or directory
  Therefore, I am deleting /lib/modules/2.6.18-2-686/source

At least, please improve the messages to show somehow more detailled
diagnostics if possible, if this is nothing to worry about.
