System freeze with linux-image-2.6.18-3-686 (version 2.6.18-7)

Hi,

On a Debian GNU/Linux system with packages from the 'testing'
distribution and 'linux-image-2.6' from 'unstable' I get the system
freeze after 10-20 minutes when the screen saver 'Pop art squares' on
Gnome is started.

I cannot see anything in the system log regarding this problem. How
can I found the problem and offer more information?
