When I run gdb, the system freezes immediately after starting the
program being debugged.
I experienced the same bug with an older 2.6.16-2-vserver-amd64-k8
kernel, but in 2.6.16-14 gdb works fine.

In linux-image-2.6.17-2-vserver-amd64 2.6.17-9 gdb works fine again.
