Bug#394200: kernel freezes (no panic), seems related to acpid

i cannot reproduce this problem with a 2.6.14 kernel.

unfortunately, i also cannot reproduce the freeze during rc2.d
anymore. this reminds me of the first appearance in july: after
a few days, the problem just went away.

i'll have to wait to see if it comes back. if you know anything else
i could do to help debug this, please let me know.

i hate computers.
