Please note that this bug report is not about a broken if-statement, but about the postinst script of initramfs-tools touching the existing initrd image without need. Rebuilding initrd.img can go badly wrong, as the broken if-statement showed. At least I want to get a choice whether the initrd.img is built. Please reopen. Many thanx Harri
