Ok, no one listened to my explanation the first time around,
so here is the point-form version.
* Tun is a misc device.
* It is not a net device.
* Misc devices do not set INTERFACE.
Where is the bug? The debug message?
Or is there actually a behavioural problem that needs to be fixed.
