Bug#293905: kernel-image-2.6.10-1-686-smp: kernel oops under normal usage

Package: kernel-image-2.6.10-1-686-smp
Severity: important

under normal usage running x & kde etc. the kernel oopsed causing X to restart into gdm. Logging into the system
again, during kde's startup a message poped up saying kde couldn't start kdeinit and when kde had finished loading
application such as konsole and konqueror would not start. Attached is the kernel oops message, a dmesg, and lspci
from the system just after it oopsed.

PCI: Using ACPI for IRQ routing
** PCI interrupts are no longer routed automatically. If this
** causes a device to stop working, it is probably because the
** driver failed to call pci_enable_device(). As a temporary
** workaround, the "pci=routeirq" argument restores the old
** behavior. If this argument makes the device work again,
** please email the output of "lspci" to bjorn.helgaas@hp.com
** so I can fix the driver.
