Package: linux-image-2.6.14-2-686 Version: 2.6.14-6 Hello,Since I upgraded from linux-image-2.6.12 to linux-image-2.6.14 my ali5451 soundcard is no more able of playing any sound... I've tried all the successives revisions of 2.6.14 but it really seems it's since the change 2.6.12/2.6.14 that the module is no longer loading properly.

then I've got the same message in my syslog.alsaconf command seems to work fine. It does the unload/reload (which doesn't work) but say then all's OK. Then I set up alsamixer. When I play a sound, e.g. "play ~/sound/sample.wav" system seems to play it, no error is displayed, the "play" command stays in use for all the sound duration, but no sound could be heard (mixer's OK, speakers also).
Many thanks in advance if you could see what went wrong since the 2.6.14 arrival.
