I completely support Sven in that (and I hope other members of the team will too). No matter how heated the discussion is, there is totally no excuse for such a display of utter disrespect for a fellow developer. Jonas, you are doing a great job with yaird, but Debian work is not everything. People are volunteering their time to have fun and enjoy interaction with other developers, not to hear profanities shouted at them for no apparent reason. And not only you do that, but you also go and post this stuff to a public mailing list, sending it out to hundreds if not thousands of people. Do you recognize that your archived messages are going to be publically available from the Debian website essentially *forever*, for your future friends and employers to see?
I firmly believe that every effort should be taken to prevent such things from happening in the future, be it on IRC or mailing lists. I strongly suggest that you issue a public apology to Sven for this incident and be more considerate in your choice of words in the future.
