installation broken if /boot resides on vfat partition
Hi there,
I want to file a bug report against
linux-image-2.6.12-1-686_2.6.12-6_i386.deb
which is currently in deb testing.
In case there's already an old version of this package installed, the install
procedure seems to temporarily backup some directories and symlinking some
stuff, which is not possible on vfat file systems.
IMO, since the debian installer allows you to choose vfat as /boot the install
procedure should not rely on having symlink support.
Purging the old package and installing the new one results in a properly
installed new version.
thanks for your excellent work >8^)
