That is a bit of a bother, isn't it. I wonder if those
options are considered experimental or dangerous. Or
just dodgy hacks. I'll try pinging Jeff myself, but
my chances or response are as good as yours.
In the mean time I have tagged this bug as upstream,
which seems appropriate to me.
