Wish list on how I'd like to see debian build for latops......
devote half the year to laptops and the other 6 to workstations.
(I'm replying to a post that might be old)
http://lists.debian.org/debian-kernel/2005/01/msg00501.html
I'm just tired (not just at debian) making silly goofs when an older
version does better
than a newwer version Linux distro.
Prime example..... SUS 8 awsome on my AMD32/64 mobo....
Suse 9.x on install does not see the 64 bit side and the 32 bit side crashes....
So no I am done for good with Suse...... never more never more.... I
tried everything and
the SUSE free install support tech didnt know what to do...... (rolling eyes)
But if Debian could just devote a few more clock cycles to maturing
the ACPI and drivers for 3D desktop.... heck..... OSx did
it........LOL!!
WEll Im neither a techie or a newbie(somewhere in between - master of none)
well I better shut up there..... just get the core power situation ironed out!
