Package: linux-source-2.6.12 Version: 2.6.12-1 Severity: minor linux-image-2.6.12-1-686 includes both the genrtc and rtc modules. During boot, the genrtc driver is loaded fairly early on. Later, hotplug tries to also load the rtc module which fails. I'm not sure which driver is to be preferred, but wouldn't it make sense to only enable only one and not both in the kernel config? Either that or hotplug (and possibly discover) should blacklist the rtc module. Cheers, FJP <from /var/log/kern.log> Jul 24 16:52:48 localhost kernel: kjournald starting.
