Package: kernel-image-2.6.8-2-686
Version: 2.6.8-12
Severity: normal

When I try to reportbug on the kernel, I get the following error messages.
As near as I can tell, the kernel was installed correctly.
Apt-get install was used, then a hand edit of lilo.conf to
get it to boot.

Did I miss something obvious on the install? I can't think what.

(Also, the error message should probably have a slash in front of the filenames:
they are presented as relative paths...)

You can safely ignore this. These files are included in the kernel
package, but are also regenerated by depmod. I am not sure why
the output doesn't end up being identical, but it really
shouldn't be an issue.

I notice that some other kernel-image packages don't include md5sums,
so this wouldn't show up for those packages.

I believe that the output below is standard for debsums.
That is they are intentially relative to root, not absolute.
