Package: kernel-image-2.4.27-1-386
Version: 2.4.27-6
Severity: normal

Hello,

My sound driver is Advanced Logic, that uses ALS4000 chipset. The
default kernel with comes with Debian 3.1 doesn't support/detect it.

I already tried with kernel 2.6.7, wich I've downloaded from kernel.org,
and, I activated all my driver modules, including the ALS4000, and it
also doesn't work.

Of course, I installed alsa packages and tried untiringly to review
kernel config and run alsa-conf many times.

I am going to close this as it was likely fixed in 2.4.27-8
and I have no way of reproducing it.
