This meta-package purpose is to keep machines up to date with the
kernel version.

kernel-image-2.6-386 depends on an old kernel version (2.6.8-1), and
should depend on the newest existing package: kernel-image-2.6.9-1-386.

Same goes for kernel-image-2.6-* (686, k7, etc.)
