Bug#283241: kernel-image-2.6.8-1-k7: 2.6.8 and 2.6.9: utime(2) hangs on smbfs
Package: kernel-image-2.6.8-1-k7
Version: 2.6.8-10
Severity: normal
Hello!
Since I upgraded to 2.6.8-10 (and now 2.6.9), I have this weird problem.
On a writeable SMB share, I can't touch(1) a file as the program hangs
in utime(2). It worked fine before, it works from a different computer
on the same share, and it works if I use mount.cifs...
