Bug#273161: initrd-tools: initrd emitted warning about file that does not exist
Package: initrd-tools
Version: 0.1.74
Severity: normal
When creating an initrd image the following warning is emitted by the script:
debian:/opt/kernels/2.6/builds/linux-2.6.9-rc2# mkinitrd -o /boot/initrd-2.6.9-rc2.img 2.6.9-rc2
cp: cannot stat `/usr/lib/e2initrd_helper': No such file or directory
ldd: /usr/lib/e2initrd_helper: No such file or directory
The file e2initrd_helper does not exist in the Debian archive and the
reference should be removed.
Thanks
Mark
