kernel-image-2.6.8-1-sparc64-smp

Hi,

I tried installing the kernel-image-2.6.8-1-sparc64-smp (sarge) on Sun 
Enterprise 450, then configured silo to load the initrd image like so:

root=/dev/sda1
partition=1
default=Linux
read-only
timeout=100

image=/boot/vmlinuz
       label=Linux
       initrd=/boot/initrd.img

image=/boot/vmlinuz.old
       label=LinuxOLD

And in boot, I have:

Half way through the boot, the system stops, the screen goes blank and 
the only way out is a hard reboot. I tried looking through the logs and 
it looks like the last statement before the "crash", is the following:

Running the vmlinuz-2.4.26-sparc64-smp image works fine. And I do have 
both initrd-tools and module-init-tools installed.
