Please, follow up bug #268352. There is a known issue with current
reimplementation of radeonfb in 2.6 series. In the mean time you
can use vesa fb setting "vga=793" (or 791) at boot. Resolution will
be sub-optimal but it works.
Module maintainers yet know the problem.
