Bug#262092: initrd-tools: Initrd causes segfaults /w kernel-2.6.7-1-686 and root on RAID-1(mdadm)+LVM2
It still occurs.
I did generate several new initrd variations (and went manually using a
busybox initrd).
the -U commandline on mdadm /w initrd causes it to consistently segfault
(as I mentioned in the bug report).
Once past that issue, lvm2 still segfaults.
There is a slightly newer build of lvm2 in 'unstable'.
But I've not had a chance to try it.
BTW, the problem does NOT occur if I chroot to the initrd
(mounted via loop).
Is there anything else I should try?
