Bug#257950: Related problem?

I am also experiencing USB problems with 2.6.7. Everything was fine under
2.6.6-1, but with 2.6.7-3, trying to use my USB DVD writer (which, like all
my other USB devices, is connected through a hub) causes all USB devices
stop functioning immediately. The SCSI command sent to the DVD times out
after 20 seconds or so, but everything stays non-functional. If I
power-cycle the hub, none of the devices reconnect. An attempt to unload
uhci_hcd hangs forever.

I don't get a panic or any other useful information. dmesg output is
attached from my attempt to reproduce this problem after it happened the
first time.
