Bug#260163: kernel: CONFIG_EMBEDDED=y blocks APM
Package: kernel
Version: 2.6.3-1
Severity: normal
Tags: sid
APM doesn't work in the 2.6.* Debian kernels (in the ones I tried, ie.
2.6.3-2 and 2.6.6-1): if I wanted to use APM, I always got an
"APM: BIOS not found" message.
My guess that it is due to the CONFIG_EMBEDDED=y setting used in the config
of these kernels. If you happen to find that I'm right, please set this
option to "no".
