boot. I can't find any information under
/usr/share/doc/kernel-image-2.6.7-1-k7
that tells me if this is the case, or if it is what can be done about it.
It seems to work better with kernel-image-2.4.26-1-k7.
Yep, the 'nolapic' param on boot seems mandatory on some compaq series
like presario 2100 and others with AMD chipset.
It does not impact uniprocessor archs anyway.
