Well, you told me something similar in november or october last year
about another topic, so i have some doubt about the wisdom of saying 'it
is too late'. In any case, it should be the right time to start a
eperimental package with those mods in, and if it happens to work out
well in time, then it can always be included in the release.

Will you still be able to follow your package at least a bit, or would
it be ok for other people to NMU an eperimental package ?
