That's one of the reason the d-kernel list was born... 
The kernel packaging is simply too complicated and error prone
to be leaved to efforts by singles. We need to order the chaos and
we need to do that soon. My own idea is a team of maintainers/porters
responsable of any new source upload and general quality of every 
package and kpatch-package. A sort of K-QA team.

Following up the discussion on d-k could be nice to avoid eccessive
'noise' on d-d, and startup that list properly...
