I understand that. But I want to make sure that my three points are understood:
1) An unbootable computer is not a "testing" system. It's an
"unstable" system. The update that broke KDE was foreseeable and
avoidable.
2) The point of learning is not to keep repeating the same mistakes.
Hence why I'm asking if we've learnt anything that we can apply in the
future
3) I'm not expecting perfection from Debian volunteers. I'm hoping for
improvement in making regressive updates less common

Open source projects are always looking for feedback, so I'm giving my
feedback by identifying a weakness that could use improvement. This
reminds me of the car salesmen sketch in John Cleese's How to Irritate
People
"If you have any trouble, bring it in, I'll take a look at it"
"Well I have had trouble and I have brought it in"
"No, no trouble at all. Never need trouble. But if you have trouble,
