Digikam 5 and video playback / video thumbnails

Hello Pino, hello Steve, hello everyone,

I installed digikam, kipi plugins from experimental. I added ffmpegthumbs for
thumbnails. I also added mplayerthumbs later just in case.

I was surprised at being greeted by the migration assistent, but then just
went through it. (I read the mail you linked here in the other thread, Pino.)

It basically appears to work.

Yet I do not see video thumbnails. And clicking on a video does not produce
any result.

What may I be missing?

I am willing to provide a bug report, but first want to check in whether
someone has an idea about it.
