I do so as well. While Pulseaudio 4 seemed to fix some *grave* latency issues I had – in VLC when I clicked on play the video started, but it took about 5 seconds for the audio to start as well – I again run into issues after trying Pulseaudio 4. Pulseaudio still does not seem to work well with USB sound cards for me and it overamplified the music on my ThinkPad T42 Amarok machine.
