Thank you Benjamin Eikel, that'a exactly what I needed to know. For some
strange reason this system doesn't have a "nobody" group, this is why
kdm upgrade failed. Things are now in better order, no more kdm group,
kdm system user belongs to nobody, and /var/lib/kdm belongs to kdm:root .

Thanks to the kde team, you worked very well, I'm sorry I borked your
nice upgrade ! ;-)
