Most of the shortcuts that I configure work, but I am having a problem with the Volume Up, Down and Mute ones.

I use a Dell Latitude laptop that has Fn+PageUp for Volume Up, Fn+PageDown for Volume Down and Fn+End for Mute.

The keyboard is configured correctly and the keys are recognised as so, but in order to use them I have to:

- open preferences
- change the shortcut to Custom and press the desired combination (Fn+PgUp for VolUp)
- this brings up a dialogue where I choose to reassign. the radio selection goes back to the default (Volume Up -- the same one I'm setting as custom) and the Apply button is enabled
- click Apply

That solves the problem for one of the shortcuts. Rinse and repeat for the other ones.

The problem is that I have to repeat these steps at each login.

Anybody?
