RE: Dead keys not working in KDE
Yes, I did install the xkb-data. Without it it was not be possible to configure the KDE keyboard layouts.
I repeat that for GTK apps (even under KDE) the (ˇ) key works fine. The problem is with KDE apps an OpenOffice.
