I know of a Perl script, kdemangen.pl. I don't know if it has anything to do with this, though.

Do you know upstreams opinion on manpages? Last time I offered upstream
(kdepim to be exact) to write manpages, they (Schumacher) asked me to wait,
since they somehow wanted to autogenerate them. Do you know if there has
been any resolution reached or decision made?
