As the others already said, you can drag & drop sensors from the left 
hand panel in KDE System Guard to the display boxes of the KSysGuard 
applet. The easiest way to reset the applet, though, is to remove 
~/.kde/share/apps/ksysguard/KSysGuardApplet.xml.
