Kaboodle and Noatun refuse to play audio files

I am running an up-to-date Sid installation of KDE on a 2.6.0 kernel.  I am 
using ALSA for my sound system.  I can play CDs using KsCD, and they sound 
fine.  I ripped a CD to my harddrive in ogg vorbis format, though, and I 
cannot play them (I tried .wav, too).  In both Noatun and Kaboodle, I can 
have the play button selected, but they just sit at 00:00, not actually 
playing anything.

Any ideas?
