It looks ready to go to me. According to Szymon Stefanek, the only thing 
keeping it from going final is unicode support. In a recent post he actually 
said that he thought it should have been released without it and add it in 
for v3.1.

Well I like it. Sure it could be improved but I don't think that should stop 
it from being available. Can't we have both and let users decide?

One thing that does bother me is that last time I tried to compile it, it 
needed legacy qt headers which doesn't sound good to me.
