Help: Can anyone reproduce this powerpc/kbabel crash?

Hi.  I was wondering if anyone else here can reproduce the kbabel crash
(current sid packages) described at:

  http://bugs.debian.org/215992

It's possible that it's a powerpc-specific thing; at any rate I can't
reproduce it here.

The symptoms are apparently:

  1) A crash when opening xlog.po, found at:

     http://people.debian.org/~bab/bugs/xlog.po

  2) An uncontrolled memory usage bug when opening
     desktop_kdenetwork.po, found at:

     http://people.debian.org/~bab/bugs/desktop_kdenetwork.po

Any help here would be appreciated.
