setting default umask

Dear all,

I would like to set the default umask used by kde (kde3 with a debian 
woody) so that every file I create with kde (copy and paste for example) 
has the umask 002 and not 022.

I did not find anything to do this in the setiings menus. So is there 
some script where I can specify it?
