Or do it as Debian suggest and add the user to the group audio

	addgroup audio <your-user-name>

Then access is no problem:

lapach(0) ~ > l /dev/mixer /dev/dsp
crw-rw----    1 root     audio     14,   3 Jan 24  2002 /dev/dsp
crw-rw----    1 root     audio     14,   0 Jan 24  2002 /dev/mixer
