I am not a KDE developer, but I've been playing along. KDE seems to
have been having troubles with their anonymous cvs server for awhile,
with the problems having grown more acute in the last week. Many
people report not being able to get updates, and there is some
discussion that this would be a reason to delay release.
The problems might be affecting other KDE systems as well, though I've
seen no suggestion of that. Apparently the cvs server used by the
developers is OK.
