I experienced the same problems. It the bugs in the driver, not Konq.'s fault. Are you using XFree86 4.1.0? Upgrading to XFree86 4.2.0 helped, and the 4.2.0 debs include my patch for the open source NVidia drivers (put "nv" in the driver section of XF86Config), which are very stable. The free drivers cannot freeze your system because they are not kernel modules like NVidia's nonfree drivers. Cheers, James >
