problems starting Wordperfect from kmail

I have set up the filename extension in the file browser section of the kde 
control center to associate .wpd extension with wordperfect.  Wordperfect 
starts up, but does not open the file when an attachment is clicked.  I 
suspect something is missing such as a %s parameter or something where the 
filename should be.

Does anyone have a fix for this or experience similar problems.
