Yes, I got these as well then. They did show up when I grepped for k.

The bug page shows this:

<QUOTE>
Maintainer for kstars is Karl Soderstrom <ks@debian.org>.

You might like to refer to the kstars package page, or to the source package
kstars's bug page.

Important bugs - outstanding (A list of all such bugs used to be available).

#127910: kstars: When I start kstars from command line I get a long string of
warnings and errors, an example of which is attached. They mostly seem to
have to do with incompatible versions of libpng in the application and
library. I tried uninstalling completely and re-installing, to no effect.
When the application starts, it looks almost normal except for the absence of
secondary icons/graphics. Not impossible to use but the warning/error list is
long and the app looks bad.
Package: kstars; Severity: important; Reported by: Glenn Becker
<chexmix@burningclown.com>; 16 days old.

Seems a bit old, but the list of deps on the page also shows it's linked to
libpng3 rather than libpng2. Is the existing bug report enough, or should I
E-Mail him as well? It seems he's missed the entire libpng fiasco.

Cheers,
