Upgrade to teh latest version and you'll be fine. Just upgraded to the last versions: ii kdm 2.1.0.1-0.potato4 The K Desktop Manager No login works -- neither with KDE nor any other WM :-( startx works. Any hint? Where can I find any possible error messages? (didn't find any in /var/log/*) I attach my .xsession-errors (like chinese for me) -- perhaps some kind soul can explain something here... Thanks in advance, -- Hubert Palme palme@uni-wuppertal.de
