AA support is already patched into QT by Ivan. If you want AA support you need
XFree 4.0.2 and the QT debian source package. 
Edit the rules file in the debian directory and add -xft to configure QT with 
Xft. Then run ./debian/rules binary to build new debian packages.
As far as I know QT is not built with the Xft extension, because there are 
some very annoying problems with xft, which Troll Tech does not want to
support at this stage.
For example: the fonts in konsole are totally broken, menuconfig is broken, 
some apps are flickering and if you have a lot of fonts the startup time
of every application using Xft increases weirdly.
