Re: Debian Jr. readying for release
Are you aware of the Norwegian Skolelinux project, planning to make a
Debian-based Linux distribution for the Norwegian primary schools (age
6-16)?
Check out <URL:http://developer.skolelinux.no/projectinfo.html.en> for
some English information. (Hm, the english info-page isn't linked in
from anywhere. Must find out why... :-)
Most of our pages and information is in Norwegian, but there are some
information available in English. The packages we plan to include on
"our" CD is listed in the text files available from
<URL:http://developer.skolelinux.no/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/~checkout~/skolelinux/src/task-skolelinux/lists/>.
We haven't been following the Debian junior project, but I guess we
should. We are also part of the Schoolforge coalition, but it is a
bit unclear how we can cooperate with the other groups.
