I spoke with Carlos Laviola on #debian-jr (irc.debian.org) about this
briefly the other day. As I understand it, Carlos is doing some work on
developers-reference (translation I guess) and has expressed an interest
in also doing some work with junior-doc, translating it to Portuguese. In
order to make that happen, the package needs a couple of changes to make
it fit into the current debian-doc hierarchy and to support building
multiple language deb packages from the same document source. At Carlos'
suggestion I have looked at developers-reference and think it would not be
too hard to pattern junior-doc after it.

I have joined the debian-doc mailing list and will be asking there shortly
about putting the junior-doc package into the DDP's CVS instead of having
to make something specific to Debian Jr.

Thanks for your offer. Hopefully I will have something you can start work
on soon.

There have been some recent updates to the German translation of the page
by Joey (Martin Schulze). See:

http://cvs.debian.org/webwml/german/devel/debian-jr/?cvsroot=webwml

and in particular:

http://cvs.debian.org/webwml/german/devel/debian-jr/index.wml.diff?r1=1.4&r2=1.5&cvsroot=webwml&diff_format=h

It appears that the description has been brought up-to-date.
