I got KLyX from Debian-kde, not sure of the URL or the aptsource.list entry at
the moment, but Like I said, LyX and KLyX are quite similar. Again, using KDE
will require a higher-spec'd PC than using LyX. The battle of the desktops is
still fought on >64M of memory. I recently updated to KDE2 with an accidental
dist-upgrade. The layout is completely new again and a lot of stuff is now
moved, different or missing. I hate when I'm just getting used to the desktop,
and everything changes again. When I get my Progeny CD's, I'll do a fresh start
and put even more time into finding more JR stuff. Now that I've got enough
memory into my Daughters PC, I'll get her to have a look at more things and get
'her' opinion for you as well.
